What's free and what's Premium?
The map and wreck names are free. Premium unlocks exact GPS coordinates, distance from you, depth, date sunk, wreck history and saved favourites.
How much is Premium?
£3.99 a month or £19.99 a year. You can cancel at any time.
Where does the wreck data come from?
Wreckfinder is built on official UK wreck records, covering more than 20,000 sites including the Channel Islands.
Which GPS format should I use?
Most chartplotters and fishfinders use degrees and decimal minutes (for example 50° 12.345′ N), which is the app's default. You can switch to decimal degrees or degrees, minutes and seconds in Account settings.
I subscribed on the old website. Do I need to pay again?
No. Sign in to the app with the same email address you used before, and your subscription carries across automatically.
I bought Premium but the app still shows it as locked.
Make sure you're signed in with the same account you paid with. On Android you can also tap Restore purchases on the Account screen. If it's still locked, use Chat with us in the app or email [email protected].
How do I cancel?
If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, cancel in your store's subscription settings. If you subscribed on our website, use our subscription page with the email address you pay with. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. Need help? Email [email protected].
Can I use it on my computer?
Yes, use the web app in your browser.
