Wreckfinder started with a simple idea: anyone heading out on a boat should be able to see what lies on the seabed around them, and get the exact position in seconds.

Today the app maps more than 20,000 wrecks around the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. It's used by boat anglers looking for new marks, divers planning their next trip, and charter skippers who want to give their customers more variety.

We're a small, independent UK company, Wreckfinder Limited. We keep the app simple, fast and easy to use on a moving deck, and we listen closely to the people who use it. Many of the features in the app came from customer suggestions.
